Scott

R. Scott Colglazier is a nationally known spiritual leader and author of several books and articles. He is known for helping people move more deeply into their journey, bringing insight and ideas from poetry, literature, psychology, world religions, as well as ancient and contemporary culture. He currently serves as Senior Minister of First Congregational Church of Los Angeles. Living by the mantra “The greatest glory to God is a human being fully alive.” Scott is the perfect guide for those wanting to rediscover new dimensions to their humanity. He is the father of three, and is married to his partner / friend / lover—Marti Colglazier.

Marti

Marti Colglazier is an educator, accomplished yoga practioner, mother of three children and friend / spouse / partner to R. Scott Colglazier. She has traveled extensively, and is dedicated to linking together mind, body and spirit. During the Italian retreat, Marti will lead gentle movement and stretching, as well as imaginative meditation. She brings to everyday life an open heart, a willingness to journey with others, and a contagious sense of joy and laughter.

Cheryl

Cheryl Martlage has been a long time advocate of the importance of the arts and art education as the mark of cultural advancement. She has been a leader in education at all levels from elementary to college. She received both her B.S. in Art Education and her M.Ed. Degrees from Miami University, Oxford Ohio. She has also served in leadership positions in various organizations as well as the Saratoga City Planning Commission. For the past 10 years she has been writing stories about personal change and transformation through music, story, art and video. She currently lives in both California and near Florence, Italy where she works with her husband of 37 years trying to put principles into practice. She is the mother of 2 wonderful young adults.

Emerson

Emerson Martlage served as a corporate executive for years championing the rights of employees and fostering creative environments for change and innovation. He holds a degree in Architecture from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and is a registered Architect. For the past 10 years he has been writing stories about personal change and transformation through music, story, art and video with his wife Cheryl. He lives and works with Cheryl on a variety of co-creative projects, and is the father of 2 wonderful young adults.
